Nayantara Sood,30,
is a renowned shoe designer based in New Delhi. A shoe designing
graduate from London School of Fashion, launched her brand Taramay in
India in 2009. The first collection of luxury ballet flats was available
at Atosa, Ensemble, Le Mill, White, Les Parisiennes a Delhi. She has
recently launched the 'Resort Wear' collection which is now available
exclusively at Moon River, New Delhi. The designer also retails the
collection from various e-commerce fashion portals like Pernia's Pop-Up
Shop, Be Stylish, Fabulloso among others.
Growing
up in different parts of the world has been a key influence on
Nayantara's global aesthetic, which blends timeless designs with refined
modern sensibility.
She
has designed a couple of shoes for the star Anushka Sharma and she has
exclusively designed fashion week collections for veteran fashion
designer Ritu Kumar, Amrish Kumar (Ritu Kumar's son), Alpana &
Neeraj among others.
