Since its inception in 1978, Hidesign has always pushed for a greener way of doing things. Hidesign realizes the importance of creating awareness towards conserving the environment, and hopes to lend support towards promoting afforestation and bringing to light the importance of reuse. The Art of Reuse annual project follows the “Everyday Green” effort of the brand, where we design and create usable art pieces such as waste baskets, stools, trays and other innovative products out of scrap leather, displayed in stores across India.

Hidesign is excited to announce the launch of its annual eco-initiative ‘The Art of Reuse’. Hidesign recognized as an eco friendly leather goods brand, has carved a niche for itself amongst luxury goods. As a brand, Hidesign has consistently tried to create space in its consumers’ mind on the importance of being eco friendly, using natural elements, and impressing upon the beauty of the handcrafted. The Art of Reuse is an engagement project to support and encourage the practice of upcycling used materials, which one discards as waste or redundant goods into new materials/products of better quality with a higher environmental value. The initiative is in the form of  a contest, where participants are encouraged to create new designs out of leather scrap provided by Hidesign in The Art of Reuse Kit, available at all Hidesign stores PAN India. One needs to register on Facebook to collect the kits from a preferred store and design anything they like. The designs then need to be submitted back at the Hidesign stores and winners will be selected through votes on Hidesign’s page on Facebook. On the 25th of September, three winners will be selected who will receive Hidesign gift vouchers worth Rs. 15000, Rs. 10000 and Rs. 5000 respectively.

KAWAN PARATHA LASAGNE 

(TAWA PARATHA)

This Independence Day, lets sit back at home and splurge on tempting Lasagne Parantha. Try out this lipsmacking Homemade ready to Cook ! 

 

1.       Take a greased baking dish.
2.       Place 1 frozen Whole wheat Paratha.
3.       Spread Thick Tomato sauce and top with any mix ( varying 
          from ricotta and spinach with pine nuts to leftover
          mix veg curry)
4.       Put shredded mozzarella and processed cheese on top.
5.       Repeat points 2 to 5.
6.       Top the whole with a final paratha and spread thick tomato 
          sauce again.
7.       Spread Cheese.
8.       Cook in a pre heated oven at 220 degree Celsius for 20 
          minutes.
9.       Cut into portions and serve.
