SRIDEVI SPOTTED CARRYING 'HIDESIGN' IN ENGLISH VINGLISH 

With less than 10 days to hit the box office, ‘English Vinglish’ has already garnered media attention. Portraying an elegant and confident look in the movie, the movie’s protagonist Sridevi has been spotted carrying two Hidesign bags – The Estelle and The Arno - throughout the movie.

‘English Vinglish’ is the story of a woman who does not know English and is made to feel insecure by her family and society at large. The film is a light -hearted yet touching and transformational journey of Shashi.  Circumstances make her determined to overcome this insecurity, master the language and teach the world a lesson on the way to becoming a self assured and confident woman. A Hidesign woman has the same principles as Sridevi’s character in the film i.e., independence and a liberal global mindset- strong, confident, adaptable, and does not let obstacles deter her.

English Vinglish has been shot mostly in New York and captures the inherent struggle of many people all over the world with the English Language.
